A joint venture established between a renowned and leading Japanese trust bank and a well known global asset manager namely Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (SuMi Trust) and Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) respectively.

Investment will focus on residential real estate in Japan and other mature markets across the Asia-Pacific.  New condo, new launch condo, new condominium will be part of its strategic focus and not forgetting mixed development comprising residential and commercial entities.

Another focus will be on Japan real estate market with targeted investment on residential asset such as multi-family, senior housing, student housing and in addition corporate housing in mature markets in the Asia-Pacific region. the way of executing such investment portfolio is done through co-investment and co-management by ASI and SuMi Trust’s subsidiary, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Real Estate Investment Management.
